Privacy policy
This page explains what data Rent Calc processes and how it is used. The calculator is built so you can work with a project either locally or through a backend account, while public analytics is limited to product and route events.
What we store
Rent Calc may store calculation settings, scenario lists, the selected horizon, comparison preferences, and technical access tokens for a project. If you are not signed in, some data can live locally in the browser via localStorage and is only sent to the backend when you save a calculation.
How analytics is used
The site uses Google Analytics 4 and Yandex.Metrica. They are used to understand page traffic, route transitions, and key product actions such as starting a calculation, viewing results, saving, exporting, and sharing. Analytics is not used to replace the calculator's own decision logic.
Cookies and identifiers
Analytics providers may use cookies and similar technologies. These are standard technical mechanisms that help us understand how the product works and where to improve it. If cookies are disabled, some analytics signals may be less complete, but the calculator remains available.
Retention and access
Local drafts may be kept in the browser for up to 30 days. Projects saved to the backend remain there until removed by the owner or cleared under the service rules. You can contact STIV Labs through the channel listed on the site if you have a data request.
